You may have worked with her, I’m sure you’ve seen her designs. So just who is “Ingepro,” and how did she become such an amazing artist? We find out in the logo designer interview.
We start this year off with a logo designer interview from Ingepro! 2014 was an impressive year for her. She won over 270 contests last year, bringing in 37 wins in August alone! That was also around the time she made it to top of the Top Designer Earnings list! A position only Jaize has held for the past few years. So who is the young lady that’s made such an amazing impact? Let’s find out.
Inge is from a small city in the center of Java, Indonesia. She enjoys the slower traffic and cleaner atmosphere, as opposed to what you find in bigger cities. She joined 48hourslogo in January of 2013. When asked about her family, she said it feels like she’s married to 48hourslogo, since she usually works on logos more than ten hours a day!
Logo Designer Interview With Ingepro
Inge – thank you for your time! You really seem to understand a lot of what clients want in a logo design, you must be a good communicator. What languages do you speak?
I can just speak Indonesian, and a little English. I am really working hard to improve my English. Sometimes its difficult for me to understand the client briefs. I’m thankful for Google Translator and some friends at 48HL who are always willing to help me improve my English.
Well that certainly hasn’t slowed you down any! Lord help us when you have a stronger grasp of it! So what can you tell us about your family?
I have a puppy that’s like my son, haha… He always follows me everywhere all the time. It makes me happy, not so lonely when I’m working all day long in front of my desktop computer.
Do you have any specific hobbies outside of designing?
I like traveling! I have already been to some countries like China, Korea, Japan, etc. I enjoy traveling around the world, seeing the beauty and culture of different places. In the future I would like to go to Europe, Africa, the USA, and even Antartica! But that gets costly, so I’ll be working hard for that, haha!
That sounds like a lot of fun! Let’s say you’ve been granted one superpower of your choosing, what would you choose?
Iron Man – I’m a fan of his genius brain!
You’re right, it is a super power being that intelligent! Now can you tell us if there’s anything in your refrigerator that you’re excited about?
Sambal, chicken, and vegetables. I like eating fried chicken with samba almost everyday!
What can you tell us about your future goals or dreams?
I would like to do something like an Inge Kids Foundation, I would like to have a kids foundation someday… like to house orphans.
Ingepro on Design
How did you first become interested in being a graphic designer?
I followed and I passed the enrollment test of a renowned medical faculty. I received a statement letter from the university, telling me that I had all the requirement to become a student of the university. After making all consideration due to the high expenses needed to enter the university, I decided to stop and began my drawing hobby through graphic design.
Do you remember the first thing you ever designed professionally?
Yeah, I made a kids t-shirt design, it was a product for myself.
What is one of your favorite logos that you’ve designed through 48hourslogo?
I really like TNT Wild Wings, Cake Logo, Monkey Cut for Kids, and Rothech MuayThay.
Are you drawn to any certain types of contests?
Yes! I like designing for cake companies, restaurants, and sports.
Are you superstitious at all? Have any special habits for when you design logos?
Sometimes I listen to music, sometimes I listen to the TV (not watching it, haha), and also having a snack (a good snack will get you a good logo).

What kind of work did you do before starting at 48hourslogo?
I worked for an export/import company, and I still do right now some. I like being a freelancer now, because I like working at home all day rather than an office.
Do you remember your first logo win?
Yes! The contest was Northern Shaolin. It was such a wonderful feeling, like I had wings and could fly! I was more than happy, it was a great experience. The client was very helpful with his feedback, he was very satisfied with the final design.
I remember that logo, I love it! Nice work 🙂 So why did you settle on 48hourslogo, what makes this site so special to you?
48HL is very user friendly, and I like the community here. By the way, 48HL is the first logo contest site I have ever joined! It’s very special to me as my “first love,” kind of a “love at first sight” kinda thing. I have some great friends here – thank you all – you’re very inspiring to me!
How has your life changed since joining up with our site?
Much has changed, earlier in life I would spend a lot of time shopping online, wasting money and time. But now I concentrate on earning money, haha 🙂 many thanks to my friend who told me about the logo contests at this site, and thanks to 48hourslogo.
Do you have any advice for anyone trying to find success like you have?
Never give up.
