The logo concept is the Inkwell name along with a tattoo gun and a vintage glass inkwell for quill pens. As an app, the logo needs to be able to stand on its own, independent of the Inkwell typography, and be easily identified as a small app icon. The font choice is intended to evoke the style of script that is common in tattoo art styles, but violates many logo typeface rules of thumb, so we are open to changes here, but if a style can be found that still evokes tattoo typography and makes a good logotype, that would be ideal. The app UI/UX colors will probably be gold, black, red, and white, but we are open to other palette suggestions. Chrome and metal/glass effects are ok. The logo should be easily vectorized or rasterized for different use purposes(ie vector for logo and mobile  graphics, raster for merch and HD web and video use) To be clear, we are not asking specifically for a mobile icon, rather a main brand logo, but one designed with the idea that we will need simpler and more complex versions down the line, such as the aforementioned mobile icon. We have produced a few sketches as a leaping off point, but feel free to take original approaches, or iterate on the images provided, as you see fit.
