Northwoods Odds and Ends (some time referred to as Northwoods Odds and Ends, LLC) has been in business since 2020. My business will be centrally focused on professional handyman services, property services and firewood sales. I offer professional, timely, and reliable service, and aim to make this a career. In my area, more than 50% of the homes are non-permanent residents, meaning that the owners have a home elsewhere, typically in Southern Wisconsin or Northern Illinois. I am targeting clients that own 2 or 3 homes, Air BnB/ VRBO rental properties, property management companies that manage rental properties, real estate agents, real estate companies, and high-end clients. "Northwoods" is a term that refers to the Northwoods of Wisconsin, or typically areas in Northern Wisconsin. Northern Wisconsin is vastly rural in nature, but with thousands of lakes and many thousands of lake homes. My hometown is very touristy in nature (Minocqua, WI), surrounded by vast forests of pines, oaks and maples.
