- Instructions:
- I prefer a minimalistic logo including the name Birth Waves, however I hope it will be telling a visual story so that it becomes immediately obvious that it is focusing on everything surrounding birth and pregnancy. I want the use of soft lines, soft colours and an overall organic design. I have three concepts ideas which speak to me: Concept 1: Wave and Hands Visual Elements: A stylized wave to represent the "waves" of labor and birth, with soft, flowing lines. Incorporate two gentle hands cradling or supporting the wave to symbolize the nurturing and supportive role of a doula. Color Palette: Soft, calming blues/ mint / teal, perhaps with a gradient that evokes the idea of water flowing. Typography: A smooth, flowing font that complements the soft, natural feel of the wave imagery. Consider something script-like but still readable. Concept 2: Mother and Child with Wave Visual Elements: A silhouette of a mother with a baby, and a subtle wave behind them or integrated into the background to represent the birth process. The wave could be made up of delicate curves, almost like the swirl of a spiral. Color Palette: Soft pastels like pale blues, pinks, or greens, evoking tranquility and connection. Typography: A serif or rounded font for warmth and professionalism, with "Birth" in bold and "Waves" in a lighter script or handwritten style. Concept 3: Abstract Wave and Flower Visual Elements: A minimalist, abstract wave that also forms the shape of a flower (a rose (my name/my deceased grandmother) or a lotus flower (rebirth) for example), symbolizing both the natural rhythm of birth and the blooming of new life. The wave could be slightly asymmetrical to give a sense of movement and energy. Color Palette: Earthy tones such as sand, soft teal, and lavender. Typography: A modern sans-serif font with a touch of elegance, perhaps with some letters slightly curved to mimic the flowing nature of waves.
