Logo should appeal equally to men and women - nothing too feminine or masculine.  I prefer simple and iconic symbols, graphics, and illustrations.  Typography should be classic, retro, or nostalgic in style.  Logo may harken to a simpler time in American history (think the 1940s).  If incorporating graphic representation of a dog (whether it&#39;s an image, illustration, symbol, silhouette, etc) I prefer a larger, sport breed be used such as a retriever, setter, St. Bernard, etc...
