- Logo Name:
- Paracosm Press
- Company Intro:
- We're a small press games publisher who makes indie tabletop roleplaying games. We're run by two best friends who uphold storytelling and imagination above most things. We're interested in making games that welcome magic into the mundane, and encourage empathy and creativity.

Our first game is about playing out stories like Groundhog Day, Stranger than Fiction, and Midnight in Paris. We have two other games we're working on. One is about muppets, the other is a superhero tale that focuses on the Alter Ego's everyday.

In addition to this business, we run a podcast network where we play games with Chicago improvisers, comics creators, games creators, and noteworthy nerds. Our whole deal is making role playing games accessible and encouraging imagination.
- Instructions:
- This is primarily for our website's banner.

We're cool with either "Paracosm" or "Paracosm Press". We're planning to use squarespace, so something that would look nice alongside their font list would be preferable.

We've casually used the tagline "telling lies to tell the truth" for awhile now. If your design could benefit from a tagline, we're not opposed to using it.

Colorwise, our hearts are set on some purple showing up in the design. We prefer dreamy lavender and punky magenta to professional eggplant, but whatevs. We've thought about multicolor a bunch. Chessex makes these dice (Borealis Purple w/ white) that are a translucent light purple with swirls of teal glitter inside. We think these look like magic, and take inspiration from them. We're also think galaxy nonsense is neat. Just something that's mystical without being too twee.

We prefer white backgrounds.

If we love and plan to use the final design, we plan to reach out to the contest winner with additional work. We'll be needing business cards, correspondence stock, and a side of book/front of book pack of vector designs. Probably also packaging in time. We're looking to establish a relationship with a designer who'd be interested in working with a mom & pop publisher who are into the details and would always upgrade paper quality before adding content.
