Logo Name:
    Memories in Portrait
    Company Intro:
The actual name of the company is "Memories in Portrait"

For a short descriptor I would say the business provides "Fine Art Portraiture"

Lengthy description:
Fine art portrait photography specializing in large custom canvases in an elegant frame for the wall. Capturing your memories and producing a piece of art that will be handed down generation to generation.

Custom albums of archival quality is also offered as well as small resolution social media files.
    Instructions:
I need a logo that can be used on a website as well as letterhead (for invoices, contracts, model releases, etc.). I also need to use it as a gold foil stamp for the wall art and a watermark for the low resolution social media images. The watermark needs to be closer to a square or circle shape for a corner (think Olan Mills foil stamp), but the large prints, web & letterhead can be rectangular. Possibly just part of the rectangle can be pulled out for the watermark.

A lot of the logos I picked that I liked had a black background, but I don't see myself using black as my primary background color. I would like to have the ability to have light and dark backgrounds though. In the portraits, I may need to put the logo against either type of background.

It needs to be elegant and not cartoony.

I'm not sure if the initials will work; "MiP" maybe? I'm really not good at visualizing what will look good to represent my business. How would you represent a memory inside of a picture frame? That might be a stupid idea though. :D

I'm not sure if I didn't post correctly or not, but I am definitely liking the logos that include the subtext "Fine Art Portraiture."

There is some really nice work here so far! It's going to be hard to choose. Thanks to all so far!

So, I know it was my idea to try and get the initials in, but I am not liking the examples with initials. They're just not working for me and you all probably could have told me that. So thanks for showing me.
