PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL: In a large campus, located in Cambodia's Capital, Phnom Penh, (South East Asia), we are a New, purpose built, all through, Private School for English Speaking Expats and Wealthy Locals. It runs the Australian National Curriculum along side the International Baccalaureate Program (IB) and will be a full IB WORLD SCHOOL. Teaching students from Early Years (2yr olds) right through to High School and then Senior School Diploma Program (18yr olds), which will allow students to be University entry ready, globally. Its a high end Private school and needs a more professional stylish crest/logo to portray that. The original concept was; the Green and Gold to represent Australia and the Blue and Red the colours of the Cambodian Flag. But all put together in a similar way to other logos locally does not work well or transfer into the ways needed across a school. But our design and colours, while not only looks too similar to our competitor school (which was designed 20yrs ago-and I will also include their logo for you to see), using the RED, BLUE, GREEN and YELLOW, looks too pre-school ish and does not represent the high end, fee paying, Private school that we are and the facilities and programs offered in our 21st Century Learning approach. We need a new concept that is UNIQUE, High End, Stylish, Modern, but timeless in its Branding and makes us look like the High Quality Private Education that we offer. (and nothing like our competitor) Whilst being able to be used across our uniform (similar to the Private School uniforms of England and Australia.) (Think School Tie & Blazer).

    Instructions:
In trying to get this sorted we have dropped the GREEN altogether (as too many "Primary" colours together), and were looking at Blue as a main colour, with Gold/Yellow and/or Red Accents, BUT we are happy to look at other colour pallets too, although we would still like to see the Royal or Navy Blue somewhere as our uniform colours chosen already reflect this. We will require a 1) Crest/icon/logo component, which can be used on uniforms, if the full logo and name does not reduce well enough for embroidery. 2) Full name of School AND Crest component included, which will be the "FULL SCHOOL LOGO" for the rest of the Branding. But Currently the letters Only are used as the main part of the logo (AISPP), but this is not necessary, or can be put into another placement arrangement. I don't like the "tree" concept, because is on every educational and new school logo now, and I don't like the graduation cap, as its too American, and Australians only use the Graduation cap when graduating from a four year University Degree. (just to give you some context) and no open books, again, as its so cliche. A good concept example is the Australian International School Singapore (AIS) (which I will also include for reference). We are doing this on 48 hour logos, because I think we just need someone else to start from scratch and give us some great FRESH IDEAS !! (rather than us flogging a dead horse ??) I will include our logo (AISPP) and our competitor (ISPP) logo too. Please let me know if you have any further questions I can help with.
