- Cultural Connections
- Company Intro:
- The goal of Cultural Connections is to connect and engage international students with the community and other students through sociocultural events, outdoor and indoor recreation, and day trips.
- Instructions:
- Our target audience is international students, so the logo should be easy to read and understand. However, we want to bridge the gap to market to domestic Canadian students too, so are looking for something eye-catching and trendy. Our current logo is just the words 'Cultural Connections' in some fancy letters, and it doesn't actually describe what we do or what the trips are. The activities that we offer include regional day trips, weekly hikes, sociocultural events (such as international festivals and weekly intercultural exchanges through our Culture Couch program), on-campus recreation, a campus-community radio show, and anything where international students can explore the area and meet people from other places. We want to convey that Cultural Connections means exploring, getting out there, making new friends, learning something new, developing intercultural competence, all while having fun! **Please do not include mountains or ocean since this is already part of the main VIU logo. Please include visual representation of connecting cultures if possible. We would like to see some angles, slanting, or "movement" in the text/font, to make the program seem "fun". Also, prefer that the words Cultural Connections are the logo, and not necessarily with the inclusion of an image.
