Ogden Axolotls
Hey there! We’re Ogden Axolotls, a small pet breeder located in Ogden NY, and we’re here to get some help branding our company with a logo that is as wonderful as these little guys are. If you’re not sure what an Axolotl is, no worries- we’ve gathered some information from across the internet for you to learn a little bit about these super cute, silly, little creatures. Although the Axolotl is colloquially known as the "Mexican walking fish", it is not a fish, but an amphibian. Axolotls are unusual among amphibians in that they reach adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis. Instead of developing lungs and taking to the land, adults remain aquatic and gilled. An Axolotl’s diet mostly consists of nightcrawlers/earthworms. There are five main Axolotl color variations. Wild Type (brown/tan with gold speckles and an olive undertone), Leucistic (pale pink with black eyes), Albino (golden with gold eyes), Axanthic (grey/sometimes almost purple with black eyes) and Melanoid (all black with no gold speckling or olive tone).- $129
