Company Intro：

My daughter's school is in search of a new logo. It is an elementary school, grades Pre-K through 5th with around 500 kids. We are a coastal community in Charleston, SC. Our district includes kids from James Island, where our school is located, and Folly Beach.

Instructions：

The school's mascot is a Beacon (lighthouse). The school motto is "Beacons to the Future". While we definitely want the logo to include a lighthouse, the motto could be included or not. Ideally we would like a couple of versions, some that include the motto and some that don't. The logo needs to work well in color and in black and white and print well on t-shirts . We'd like something that appeals to both kids and adults. The attached logo is quite old and a bad copy, but it will give you a sense of what we've been working with.
