Pal-Mac school district seeks design ideas for an image to represent its Red Raiders mascot on athletic uniforms, banners, letterhead, clothing, stickers, etc. Preferred images, as selected by students and the Board of Education, are a phoenix, a red-tailed hawk, or a spartan. School colors are red & white (specifically, American Flag / Old Glory Red & White). <br><br>When asked about what it means to be a Red Raider, the following words/phrases were typical of student responses: respect, sportsmanship, competitive, pride, community, team, spirit, strong, courage, family, hard work.<br><br>The following text may, but is not required to, appear with the mascot image: Red Raiders, Pal-Mac, Palmyra-Macedon, or simply the initials PM.<br><br>48HoursLogo.com contest rules require a single winning design to be selected. However, the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District anticipates also buying at least two non-winning designs.<br><br>Pal-Mac alumni and current Pal-Mac students are strongly encouraged to submit designs. Design ideas may also be submitted directly to the school district, but direct submissions will not be eligible for the contest prize being awarded at 48hourslogo.com. <br>

Thank you very much for all of your designs, and for your patience with this long contest. A winner has been selected for the purposes of this online contest only. However, the Board of Education has not yet selected an official Red Raiders image. The Palmyra-Macedon Central School District anticipates offering to purchase additional designs from this contest in the coming weeks, and hopes that designers will consider not withdrawing their submissions yet.
